The Nigerian entertainment industry is rapidly changing and it has greatly evolved from what it used to be. These days, a lot of talented stars are coming up and gaining visibility because of social media and the veterans in the industry are no longer as important as they used to be.
Well, change is a constant thing and human beings are bound to study the tides and change accordingly. Nothing ground-breaking ever comes out of comfort zones so it is understandable.
Talented Nigerian rapper, Jude Abaga, popularly known as MI has now decided to take another huge step that will help further his career.
The Mr Incredible took to social media via his Instagram page to share the news of him leaving his record label, Chocolate City.
MI said that despite spending 13 years at Chocolate City, it is time for him to finally let go and move on to something new.
He wrote: “I had a dream that CBN would be the greatest group the world had ever seen.. it was on me… and today I announce my decision to finally let go and move on to something new! Thank you for your support and love for 13 years…and if your still with me!! Let’s go.”.

In other news, Legit.ng reported that Grammy-nominated Nigerian singer, Burna Boy, is said to be the first from the country to sell out arenas in Paris, Lyon and Marseille.
Just recently, a fan of the African Giant took to social media via his Twitter page to claim that Burna Boy is the first Nigerian artiste to sell out arenas in Lyon and Paris.
The Twitter user, Gabriel, said that Burna sold out 1600-capacity arenas in Paris and Lyon on two different occasions.
Well, Burna Boy, obviously not being one to let his achievement be reduced, reacted to the fan’s claim.
According to the Ye crooner, the arena in Paris was a 3000-capacity one and he sold it out twice. He also said the arena in Lyon was a 2500-capacity arena and that it was also sold out twice.
